The Greats

This page I want to dedicate to what I and others consider the great classics of economics. I will plan to read these classics, give a summary and review of the books, (whether that be in chapters or in parts) and then give a brief analysis of the text. What I want the most out of this section is to generate some interest in the field of political economy, history of economic thought, and other related topics in economics. By doing so I hope this page can harbor some good debates, insights, and more!

I hope overall the impacts of this page will allow us once again to revisit some of the great economic and philosophical works that have helped shaped our world. Seeing if we can recover or gleam something from the texts that can either help us today or in the future. Whether that be reminders of old tools and analysis these classics brought to the table, or if it be entirely new concepts and ideas we picked up on our adventures down these books. Either way, I hope to make these posts fun, exciting, and most importantly informative on these great works!
